Frozen Grape Lemonade

Frozen Grape Lemonade
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup boiling water
3 cups seedless green grapes (about 1 lb.)
3/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. finely grated lemon zest (optional)

Serve in small canning jars, or serve in paper cups with wooden spoons for the full ballpark experience! Recipe courtesy of the California Table Grape Commission.

Prep: 10 minutes  Freeze: at least 2 hours  Serves: 6

1. Dissolve sugar in boiling water; remove from heat and let cool.

2. Puree grapes in a blender or food processor.

3. Stir together grape puree, sugar mixture, lemon juice and lemon zest in a large bowl. Transfer to the container of an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. Remove paddle and press plastic wrap directly onto the surface.

4. Freeze for at least 2 hours or up to 2 weeks.
