Cranberry Jalapeño Guacamole

Cranberry Jalapeño Guacamole
2 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
2 tbsp. agave nectar
2 firm but ripe avocados peeled, pitted and coarsely mashed
2 tbsp. minced red onion
2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsp. minced jalapeño pepper
2 tsp. lime juice
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Such an unexpected combination of flavors that is totally delicious! It’s also low in sodium, gluten-free and diabetic friendly. Serve with red and green tortilla chips to keep the holiday feel.

Prep: 15 minutes, Serves: 8

1. Stir together cranberries and agave nectar in a small bowl; set aside.

2. Stir together remaining ingredients in a medium bowl. Lightly stir in cranberry mixture. Serve immediately or press plastic wrap directly onto the surface and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
