Hot Cranberry Ginger Cider
Here's the perfect drink to serve with home-baked goodies and warm visitors on a chilly night. Use naturally sweetened cranberry juice or a combination of white grape and cranberry juices.

2 cups (480-ml) naturally sweetened cranberry juice
2 cups (480-ml) apple cider
8 1/4 -inch (0.5 cm) slices fresh ginger root
1/2 tsp (1 g) orange zest (grated peel)
Orange slices and whole cinnamon sticks (for garnish)

Prep: 20 minutes  Serves: 1

1. Combine cranberry juice, apple cider, ginger root and orange zest in a medium saucepan.
2. Bring to a low boil and simmer 15 minutes. Serve warm garnished with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
